If authentic identification cannot be provided when requested, you will not gain entry to the film and your tickets and booking fee will not be refunded. The final decision with regard to the production of identification and its suitability to prove age rests with the staff of the cinema.
Babies under the age of 1 year can be admitted to any film rated U, PG or 12A provided that they sit on the lap of an adult for the duration of the film, and are removed from the auditorium should they cause a disturbance to other customers. This does not apply to specific Parent & Baby screenings.
A ticket will be required for children over the age of one year.
You must show your booking confirmation email or Apple / Google wallet ticket in order to collect your tickets.
Gift vouchers are not refundable or exchangeable and will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

At The Living Room Cinema Chipping Norton, we run a strict age restriction policy and as such you must be prepared to present a valid ID if you look under 25.

If a film is age-restricted (12A), (15), or (18), whether or not a ticket has been purchased online, the customer must bring recognised identification.
Films rated (12A) are suitable for children aged 12 and over; however, children younger than 12 may see a (12A) so long as they are accompanied by a suitable adult (over 18). The accompanying adult must supervise the child at all times.
In such circumstances, responsibility for allowing a child under 12 to view lies with the accompanying adult.
For films rated (15), you must be prepared to present a valid ID if you look under 18.
For films rated (18), you must be prepared to present a valid ID if you look under 21.
Alcohol sales are strictly for those over 18’s and we operate a challenge 25 policy.
We accept the following forms of ‘valid ID’:
  • Passports
  • Driving licence
  • Photographic Student Card
***Parental consent or accompaniment is not a valid form of identification.***
If valid identification cannot be provided, when requested, you will not gain entry to the film and your tickets and booking fee will not be refunded.
The final decision with regard to the production of identification; and its suitability to prove age rests with the staff of the cinema, and the manager’s decision in this matter is final.

Neither hot food nor alcohol may be brought onto the premises.
Therefore, we ask that you do not bring food and drinks purchased from outside sources. If you do so we will ask you to leave it behind the counter until the end of the film.
Alcohol may only be purchased and consumed in licenced areas.
Customers may be refused entry if unable/unwilling to comply.

The following sets out the terms and conditions of our membership scheme. By becoming a member you are bound by these terms of use and anyone found in breach of these terms will have their membership revoked.

Our membership scheme is designed for those who are 18 years of age or older.
There are three different membership tiers available: Founder, Premium and Standard. Each tier has different member benefits and offers, which are subject to change and alteration by us without notice.
Memberships are subject to availability and we reserve the right to limit the number of each respective membership package available.
Your application to become a member is an offer to join our membership scheme. Our acceptance of your offer will create a contract between you and us. Once paid in full you can enjoy your membership immediately.
Any membership packages purchased prior to the opening date of  the cinema will become active on the first day that the cinema is open to the public and will last for one year from that date.
Our membership packages last for the duration of 12 months and must be renewed prior to the expiry date or the membership shall cease after one year.
Payments can be made via credit or debit card, or bank transfer.
Standard memberships are non-refundable. Premium and Founder memberships can only be cancelled mid-term under extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the manager and you will be reimbursed on a pro-rata basis.
You may upgrade a Standard membership to Premium within the first two months. You will be granted a full refund on the Standard membership upon receipt of payment for the Premium package.
We will operate a waiting list for Founder memberships which will be allocated to Premium members who have expressed interest on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be granted a refund on your Premium membership.
Memberships are not transferable and are designed for the cardholder only. Anyone found in breach of this will have their membership revoked.
Members-only screenings will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. A higher tier membership package does not guarantee you entrance. The maximum number of member-only screenings which will take place during a year is 6. Non-members will not be permitted at these screenings.
Standard and Premium Member free tickets cannot be redeemed on Live Event showings, including National Theatre and Royal Opera House live screenings.
Member free tickets and member-priced tickets cannot be redeemed on special screenings, Q&As and events, except when expressly promoted as such by us. This applies to all levels of membership.
Standard Member free tickets cannot be carried over and any unused free tickets will expire at the end of each membership year, to be replaced by four more free tickets if the membership is renewed.
All membership packages are subject to a fair usage policy.

Founder Member membership cards are non-transferrable.

Exclusive partner offers may vary in number throughout the year.
The maximum number of Founder Member preview screenings that will take place throughout the year is 4. Tickets will be available to the Founder Member plus one guest and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
