ACCESSIBILITY

WHEELCHAIR USERS

We are able to accommodate wheelchairs in Screen 1 (our ground floor auditorium) and throughout the café-bar. A large portion of our cinema footprint is on one level, including our entrance, foyer, toilets, and first row of seats in Screen 1. We have accessible toilets with baby changing facilities.

Please note that Screen 2 is on the first floor and is only accessible via stairs. If you have accessibility needs or limited mobility we suggest booking tickets in Screen 1. All films will play some shows in both screens throughout their run. Any one-off events will take place in Screen 1.

Wheelchair users, or those with limited mobility, may book our front row (row A)  in Screen 1 to access the screen without any steps. Seats A5 and A6 are our wheelchair spaces. These are standard seats which are removed if required by a wheelchair user. If you are booking A5 and/or A6 for a wheelchair user, please email hellochippy@thelivingroomcinema.co.uk to let us know that the wheelchair space will be required.

If you or your guest has a large, motorised wheelchair, it is possible that two seats will be required. If you think this may be the case, please email as above to let us know. You will not be required to purchase multiple seats.

CEA CARDS

We happily accept CEA Cards both on our website and in venue. The CEA Card is a national card scheme developed for UK Cinemas by the UK Cinema Association and enables a disabled cinema guest to receive a complimentary ticket for someone to go with them when they visit a participating cinema. If you do not have a CEA Card and would like to apply for one, please click here. If you do not have a CEA card but require a carer in order to attend the cinema, we are still able to offer a complimentary carer ticket. Please email us at hellochippy@thelivingroomcinema.co.uk, or come to see us in venue to purchase your tickets.

HEARING AND VISUALLY IMPARED

Our foyer is fitted with an infra-red loop and we show subtitled performances for audience members who are hard of hearing. At this time, we do not have a hearing loop in our auditorium. We have audio-description headsets for guests who are visually impaired—please let the manager on duty know if you require an audio-description headset.
